The gravitational force of the Earth, the ever-shifting qualities of Water, the transformative power of Fire, the vital movement of Wind, and the immeasurable resonance of Space, all engage around, with and within our bodies in a never-ending flux that sustains our connection to and dependence on one another - human, animal, vegetal and mineral beings alike. Drawing inspiration from Sankhya, Yoga, and Ayurveda principles, Yalda Younes facilitates the exploration of the interplay of these five elements within our bodies, using tools of breath, movement, voice, visualisation, and imagination. Fostering a profound sense of relationality, her practices support the bypassing of obstacles inherited from modern civilization - namely control, speed, and fragmentation - to reignite the body’s innate intelligence in its capacity to restore and maintain homeostasis.
